ABUJA, Nigeria – Nyesom Wike has called on residents of the Federal Capital Territory to recommit to selfless service, unity, and harmony during Easter celebrations.
In a message issued Friday marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Wike urged residents to reflect on love, compassion, and kindness. “As we celebrate, let’s remember the values of Easter and work together towards building a community where everyone can live in peace and prosperity,” he said.
The minister assured the public that the FCT Administration has deployed adequate security across the territory to guarantee a peaceful celebration. He also commended Bola Tinubu for infrastructural transformation under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Wike described Easter as a symbol of new beginnings and encouraged residents to embrace service to the nation while reflecting on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
