Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu
LAGOS, Nigeria – Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the arrival of new 24-car trains to boost capacity on the Lagos Red Line.
The governor said the additional rolling stock would reduce wait times and ease congestion across the city.
“This will improve capacity and make commuting easier for Lagosians,” he said.
The Red Line, running from Agbado to Oyingbo, is a key component of the state’s urban transport reform plan.
Authorities say the expansion will help meet rising commuter demand and reduce pressure on road networks.
