ABUJA, Nigeria – Gombe State has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rano Air Limited to commence commercial flights between Abuja and Gombe.
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya finalised the deal at the Governor’s Lodge, Abuja, describing it as “a milestone in expanding Gombe’s connectivity and investment appeal.”
Under the agreement, Rano Air will deploy a 50-seat Embraer 145 aircraft for four weekly flights — Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
“This partnership aligns with our vision to make Gombe a logistics and investment hub,” Yahaya said.
Rano Air’s General Manager (Operations), Mr. Abah Godwin, assured of “safe, reliable, and affordable air travel” across the region.
The initiative marks a step forward in the state’s drive to boost business and tourism, reinforcing Gombe’s position as one of the Northeast’s most accessible states.
