ABUJA, Nigeria – The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced a new ticket release time for passengers using the Abuja-Kaduna Train Service.
Under the new arrangement, Abuja-Kaduna train tickets will be released for booking from 6:00 a.m. daily. The NRC announced the change in a message to passengers on Wednesday, saying the new schedule took effect on October 1.
The new booking time replaces the previous 12:00 a.m. ticket release schedule for online bookings.
Passengers travelling on the Abuja-Kaduna route will therefore no longer need to wait until midnight to access newly released tickets. Instead, tickets for available travel dates will be released from 6:00 a.m. each day.
The NRC advised passengers to take note of the revised schedule and plan their journeys accordingly.
Passengers are also encouraged to use the corporation’s designated booking channels once tickets become available to secure seats for their preferred travel dates.
The Abuja-Kaduna Train Service remains an important passenger rail link between the Federal Capital Territory and Kaduna. “The latest change affects the ticket release time only and does not alter the train route or passenger service”.
