ZAMFARA, Nigeria – Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal commissions a renovated General Hospital and four major infrastructure projects in Tsafe Local Government Area, reinforcing his administration’s focus on grassroots development.
The projects include a fully upgraded General Hospital, a reconstructed motor park, a modern market, a rehabilitated school and a rebuilt Emir’s Palace.
Governor Lawal says the projects are designed to strengthen healthcare delivery, stimulate local commerce and restore confidence in public institutions.
“The General Hospital, Tsafe, is a critical link between primary and specialised healthcare,” Lawal says. “This upgrade improves patient care and working conditions for health professionals.”
He stresses that access to quality healthcare remains a core priority of his government, pledging continued investment in medical facilities across the state.
Lawal also highlights the rehabilitation of the College of Health Technology, Tsafe, describing it as a strategic investment in human capital.
“By improving training infrastructure, we are preparing competent healthcare professionals for the future,” he says.
On traditional institutions, the governor describes the reconstructed Emir’s Palace as a symbol of cultural continuity and peace.
“Traditional rulers remain essential partners in governance and community harmony,” Lawal adds.
