LAGOS, Nigeria – Electric mobility in Nigeria received a boost as Qoray launched a new electric vehicle charging hub in Victoria Island, Lagos, aimed at supporting the growing adoption of clean transport.
The facility, located at the Federal Palace Hotel & Casino, is equipped with three 60 kWh dual-gun DC fast chargers capable of serving up to six vehicles simultaneously.
According to Qoray’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Olabanjo Alimi, the chargers can power vehicles from 20 to 80 per cent within 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the model.
“Our focus is to eliminate barriers to electric vehicle adoption by providing dependable infrastructure in locations where people live, work and connect,” he said.
The hub is designed to cater to private EV owners, fleet operators and corporate mobility services, reflecting a broader shift toward sustainable transport solutions.
Executive Director of the hotel, Anita Ibru, said the initiative aligns with its environmental sustainability goals.
“By providing EV charging facilities, we are enhancing convenience for our guests while supporting the transition to cleaner mobility,” she said.
Qoray said the installation forms part of its wider plan to expand EV charging infrastructure across Lagos.
