Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Adamu Bakori extends Easter greetings to Christians, urging unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
In a statement, police spokesperson Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa says officers are deployed to churches, event centres, and strategic locations across the state.
“The Command has deployed police personnel to all locations of worship and other strategic points to ensure peaceful celebrations,” the statement reads.
The commissioner directs area commanders and divisional officers to intensify patrols and maintain vigilance throughout the festive period.
Residents are urged to remain security conscious and report suspicious activities through emergency lines or the NPF Rescue Me application.
