KANO, Nigeria – The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, resigns amid mounting political tension and legislative scrutiny.
His spokesperson Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu confirms the development on Friday but offers no details.
“Yes, it is true. The Deputy Governor has resigned,” he says.
