ABUJA, Nigeria – Fresh fuel queues have resurfaced in the nation’s capital Tuesday morning, sparking renewed frustration among motorists despite repeated assurances from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) that supply remains stable.
Africa Health Report, (AHR) correspondent who was at the NNPC mega station in Wuse reported that the Station was under lock and key, while long queues surged at the only outlet opened in the area. Drivers were seen struggling to gain access as the scarcity fear heightened.
Many motorists expressed anger, accusing authorities of failing to address the recurring crisis. “They keep telling us there is enough supply, but what we are seeing is different,” a frustrated motorist told our reporter.
As at the time of filing this report, NNPC was yet to issue an update on the sudden resurgence of queues.
