KATSINA, Nigeria – The Nigerian Air Force launches a precision airstrike that destroys a major terrorist logistics base in Katsina State, crippling operations of armed groups in the North-West.
Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame on Sunday says the strike targets a fortified enclave in Dan-Aji Forest following intelligence on movements linked to a notorious kingpin.
“Air assets identified terrorists on motorcycles and executed a coordinated strike on the location,” he states.
Military assessment confirms multiple casualties among fighters, with explosions and fires destroying key supplies and infrastructure.
Security analysts say the operation weakens the group’s ability to regroup and sustain attacks across Faskari and surrounding areas.
The Air Force reiterates its commitment to sustained operations aimed at eliminating safe havens and restoring stability.
