ABUJA, Nigeria – The Nigeria Hotel Association has warned hotel operators nationwide against accommodating criminals, including internet fraud suspects.
Speaking in Abuja on thursday, the Association’s National President, Patrick Anyanwu said violators would face sanctions, including possible closure.
“Any hotelier caught harbouring criminals will have themselves to blame,” he said.
He urged operators to comply with industry regulations and register with the association.
Anyanwu also called on the government to support the hospitality sector, citing its role in job creation and economic growth.
