Registrar of JAMB, Is-haq Oloyede
ABUJA, Nigeria – The Registrar of JAMB, Is-haq Oloyede, has called for maximum commitment from examination officials, warning that the success of the 2026 UTME depends largely on their performance.
Speaking during a virtual briefing for technical officers, Oloyede commended personnel for the success of the mock examination but stressed the need for improved diligence.
He attributed most operational challenges to lapses in pre- and post-examination assessments, announcing the immediate delisting of 11 technical officers for poor performance.
“To ensure a seamless examination, all officials must take their responsibilities seriously,” he said.
Oloyede also introduced performance-based incentives for outstanding teams, covering areas such as timely reporting and accurate documentation.
JAMB said it has deployed advanced technology to curb malpractice, urging officials to remain vigilant.
Director of IT Services, Mrs. Fumilola Usman, emphasised teamwork, noting that coordination between field officers and headquarters is essential for success.
The board added that candidates flagged during verification would be rescheduled to approved centres.
