ABUJA, Nigeria – The FCT Police Command appeals to the public for help in identifying a young boy found wandering alone in Gwarimpa, Abuja.
Police say the boy, estimated to be 10 to 11 years old, was found on 26 December 2025 at the Works and Housing Estate, wearing a white shirt and carton-coloured trousers.
According to Police Public Relations Officer SP Josephine Adeh, the child is rescued by a good Samaritan who later brings him to the Gwarimpa Divisional Headquarters after efforts to locate his family fail. “The child is unable to communicate or provide details about his identity or relatives,” Adeh says.
She urges anyone with useful information to visit the nearest police station or contact 08180382808 or 07038979348.
The command reaffirms its commitment to protecting vulnerable persons and ensuring the child’s safe reunion with his family.
