ABEOKUTA, Nigeria – The National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) commends Governor Dapo Abiodun for launching an artificial intelligence-powered teaching platform, describing it as a transformative step towards modernising education and closing long-standing learning gaps.
The students’ body says the digital platform expands access to virtual classrooms, online academic resources and interactive learning tools, positioning Ogun State at the forefront of technology-driven education reform.
“The AI-powered teaching platform testifies to the Ogun State government’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve education,” NAOSS says.
In a statement jointly signed by its National President, Olubodun Olalekan, and General Secretary, Adesanya Peter on Sunday, the association expresses optimism that the initiative will enhance academic performance and equip students with relevant digital-age skills.
NAOSS describes the platform as timely, noting that technology integration increasingly defines global education standards and workforce competitiveness.
“The introduction of this platform will revolutionise teaching and learning across the state and prepare students for emerging global opportunities,” the statement adds.
Beyond education, the students’ association also praises the state government’s establishment of a 100,000-capacity poultry pen at the Odeda Farm Settlement, highlighting its economic and social impact.
According to NAOSS, the agricultural project will generate employment, provide internship opportunities for agriculture-related students and strengthen food security in the state.
“The poultry pen represents a significant step towards agricultural development and youth participation in agribusiness,” the association says.
NAOSS pledges continued support for the Abiodun administration’s education, technology and youth empowerment initiatives, urging sustained investment in innovation-driven development.
