ABUJA, Nigeria – Nigeria records ₦23.06 trillion in federation account revenue between January and October 2025, nearly doubling previous annual totals, the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) say.
RMAFC Chairman Mohammed Shehu announces the figures at a two-day stakeholders’ forum in Abuja on Monday.
The amount surpasses the ₦11.93 trillion collected in 2023 and exceeds 2024’s full-year ₦21.43 trillion, driven by digital tracking, stronger compliance and fiscal reforms. “The improved inflows strengthen allocations to all tiers of government and reduce dependence on oil,” Shehu says.
Stakeholders link the gains to the Nigeria Tax Act 2025, set to take effect in January.
