ABUJA, Nigeria – The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that candidates shortlisted for its Superintendent cadre recruitment will undergo a Pre-Test exercise on Monday, 22 September 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
In a statement issued Thursday via its official X handle, the Service explained that the online test is designed to help applicants familiarise themselves with the computer-based system ahead of the main examination.
“The Pre-Test will help candidates log in, complete facial verification, and read instructions before the actual test,” the Service stated.
Applicants of Inspectorate and Assistant cadres will be contacted subsequently. The Service confirmed that dedicated login links will be sent to all shortlisted superintendent candidates.
The statement emphasised: “After completing the 30-minute login process, candidates must click START to begin the Pre-Test.”
NCS urged candidates to strictly comply with the guidelines.
Last week, the Service disclosed that 286,697 applicants had been invited for tests across the Superintendent, Inspectorate, and Customs Assistant cadres, competing for 3,927 vacancies.
National PRO Abdullahi Maiwada clarified that Level 8 superintendent applicants will face an additional computer-based test in the next phase of recruitment.
