LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the names of all 25 people killed in the NAF 931 aircraft crash in Igbokoda, Ondo State, correcting an earlier figure of 32 people given by the Ministry of Aviation.
The Air Force said the victims comprised five crew members and 20 passengers and confirmed that no survivor had been found following Monday’s crash.
NAF 931, an ATR-42 aircraft, was on a routine mission from Benin, Edo State, to Lagos when it crashed in the Igbokoda area of Ilaje Local Government Area, Ondo State.
The NAF said search-and-rescue procedures were activated immediately in coordination with relevant authorities to locate and account for everyone on board. It added that the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, had ordered a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
The five crew members were:

– Squadron Leader AP Man-Ugwueje — Co-pilot
– Flight Lieutenant IS Bako — Co-pilot
– Warrant Officer Abubakar A — Aircraft Technician
– Corporal HC Uguru — Aircraft Technician
The 20 passengers were:

The latest official figure differs significantly from the preliminary information released by Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo shortly after the crash. Keyamo had initially said 32 people — 25 passengers and seven crew members — were believed to have been on board when air traffic controllers lost contact with the aircraft.
