ABUJA, Nigeria – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announces that results for candidates who sat for the first batch of the 2026 UTME will be released before midnight.
JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin confirms the timeline on Friday, assuring candidates of a prompt release process.
“This is to inform all candidates… that their results will be released today before midnight,” he says.
He adds that an official public announcement will follow once the process is completed.
Over 2.24 million candidates register for the 2026 examination, marking a 10.5 per cent increase from the previous year.
Candidates are advised to check official channels for updates and access their results immediately after release.
The board maintains that the streamlined process reflects ongoing improvements in examination administration and result processing.
The UTME remains a critical gateway for admission into tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
