ABUJA, Nigeria – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it has finalised preparations for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with more than 2.2 million candidates set to participate nationwide.
The examination will run from April 16 to April 22 across 966 accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.
JAMB said 23 centres were delisted following poor performance in the mock examination, a move aimed at improving efficiency and integrity.
Candidates have been advised to print their examination slips via the official portal, as the document contains critical details including date, time and venue.
Special provisions have been made for candidates with disabilities through the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group, led by Prof Peter Okebukola.
The board reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on examination malpractice, warning that prohibited items will not be allowed into examination halls.
Officials said advanced technology has been deployed to safeguard the credibility of the process.
