ABUJA, Nigeria – The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project call on President Bola Tinubu to investigate alleged diversion of ₦2.9 billion across key government agencies.
In a letter signed by Kolawole Oluwadare and made public on Sunday, the group urges accountability from the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited and the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
“These allegations represent a grave violation of public trust,” the statement says.
SERAP also calls on Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi and anti-corruption agencies to launch a full investigation.
The group cites audit findings indicating unauthorised investments, missing funds and undocumented expenditures.
It further demands disclosure of beneficiaries linked to a ₦465 million transaction flagged as irregular.
SERAP warns that failure to act could undermine confidence in public institutions.
