ABUJA, Nigeria – The Federal Government deepens its partnership with the United Nations to expand economic opportunities for young people and women, focusing on job creation, financial inclusion and skills development.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima announces the renewed collaboration after receiving a UN delegation led by Felipe Paullier at the Presidential Villa on Friday.
“Youths are the backbone of every society’s transformation,” Shettima says, reaffirming the administration of Bola Tinubu.

The Vice-President proposes structured frameworks to coordinate policies and programmes aimed at empowering youths and women nationwide.
Paullier describes Nigeria as a strategic partner in global youth development, citing its vibrant and dynamic population.
“Nigeria is on the right path to development,” he says.
