ABUJA, Nigeria – Nigeria’s Ministry of Finance has announced a new partnership with the King Salman Foundation aimed at advancing human development, education, healthcare, and food security across the country.
In a statement on Thursday, the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, said the collaboration would play a crucial role in driving Nigeria’s socio-economic transformation under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“We had very productive discussions with representatives from the King Salman Foundation led by Dr. Ali Alghamdi and Mr. Imtiaz Alam,” Dr. Uzoka-Anite said. “Our focus is on developing actionable partnerships that will yield tangible benefits for Nigerians, particularly in human development, education, health, poverty alleviation, and agricultural development.”
She added that the Foundation had assured the Ministry of its commitment to working closely with the Nigerian government to achieve sustainable growth and social impact.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone in our development journey. Together, we are laying the groundwork for a future that prioritises opportunity, inclusion, and prosperity for all Nigerians,” she noted.
The King Salman Foundation delegation also reaffirmed its readiness to align with Nigeria’s economic and social priorities, pledging continued support for initiatives that directly improve citizens’ livelihoods.
