ABUJA, Nigeria – The National Coordinator of the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP), Dr Nnenna Ogbulafor, has called on global delegates to move beyond dialogue and commit to concrete steps in the fight against malaria.
Speaking on Friday at the ongoing Big Push Against Malaria summit, Dr Ogbulafor stressed the need for collaboration through the exchange of scientific insights, practical experiences, and the expansion of proven strategies.
“This is more than a conversation; it is a chance to shape action,” she said, underscoring the urgency of collective resolve to address the disease’s devastating impact.
Her remarks highlighted both the scale of the challenge and the critical role of joint efforts in accelerating progress against malaria worldwide.
