Tinubu to Visit Plateau After Deadly Attack, Mourns Victims

JOS, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to visit Plateau State on tomorrow, Thursday following a deadly attack that kills at least 28 people in Jos North, shifting his official schedule to console affected communities.

Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement on Wednesday confirms the visit replaces a planned trip to Ogun State.

“The President will commiserate with the government and people over the tragic loss of lives,” he says.

Tinubu is expected to continue Easter observances in Lagos before resuming official engagements, including infrastructure commissioning in Ogun and Bayelsa states.
