Abuja, Nigeria – The Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, has handed ₦2.2 billion in life insurance cheques to families of 1,574 officers who died in service.
The ceremony in Abuja on Wednesday was part of the Group Life Assurance package and the I-G Family Welfare Scheme, covering insurance claims from 2015 to 2025.
