ABUJA, Nigeria – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board releases results of the 2026 mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted nationwide on March 28.
In a statement on Tuesday, JAMB spokesman, Dr. Fabian Benjamin says candidates can check results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using their registered phone numbers.
A total of 224,597 candidates registered for the mock exam, with 152,586 successfully sitting for the test across 989 Computer-Based Test centres.
JAMB confirms that more than 20 CBT centres are delisted due to technical failures experienced during the exercise.
The board issues a strong warning against fraud, particularly claims circulating on WhatsApp offering score upgrades.
“Such claims are false and criminal… candidates found engaging in such activities will have their registration cancelled,” the statement says.
JAMB adds that results linked to malpractice may be withheld or withdrawn, even after release.
The board reiterates that the main UTME is scheduled to begin on April 16, urging candidates to adhere strictly to examination guidelines.
