LAGOS, Nigeria – The Federal Government confirms the reopening of all 47 Unity Colleges nationwide, reaffirming its commitment to students’ safety and uninterrupted learning.
The assurance comes in a statement on Thursday by the Ministry of Education’s Director of Press, Boriowo Folasade, who says academic activities resume fully after security reinforcement. “Students have returned safely to their campuses,” the ministry states, noting that some are concluding December programmes while others complete examinations.
The government says it works closely with security agencies to maintain stability within and around school premises. “The safety, welfare and well-being of every student remain our top priority,” the statement adds.
Parents and guardians receive reassurance as the ministry reiterates education as a cornerstone of national development.
