ABUJA, Nigeria – Nigeria’s Federal Government selects 65 student innovators from over 30,000 applicants for the final stage of its ₦50 million Student Venture Capital Grant programme.
Announced by the Ministry of Education under Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the initiative targets scalable, high-impact ventures.
“The quality and ambition demonstrated… is deeply encouraging,” says Education Minister Maruf Olatunji Alausa.
Launched with the Bank of Industry, the programme offers equity-free funding to startups ready for commercialisation.
Finalists will attend a bootcamp before winners are announced at the UNDP Innovation Hub.
