JAMB Launches Home-Based O’Level Result Upload

ABUJA, Nigeria – The JAMB O’Level result upload process has gone digital as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board introduces a new system allowing candidates to verify and upload their WAEC results from home, eliminating the need to visit Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.

JAMB announces that the new service is designed to make O’Level result verification and upload faster, safer and more convenient while reducing queues, manual processing and the risk of errors associated with physical submissions.

According to the Board, the initiative enables candidates’ results to be verified directly with the appropriate examination body before they are uploaded to individual JAMB profiles.

The system is expected to curb challenges linked to manual uploads, including misplaced results, fraudulent submissions, unverified certificates and incorrect entry of subjects and grades.

To access the service, candidates are required to visit buyresultsverificationcode.ng, verify their National Identification Number (NIN), select the relevant examination body and number of sittings, and complete the required payment.

Candidates must then provide their examination number, examination series and examination year to verify their results and generate a unique Verification Code.

After obtaining the code, candidates are required to send “VERIFY” followed by the Verification Code to 55019 or 66019.

For candidates using results from two sittings, the platform automatically redirects them to the JAMB e-Facility dashboard, where they can access the 2026 UTME O’Level Upload option and select between five and nine relevant subjects from their verified results.

JAMB says the innovation forms part of ongoing reforms aimed at improving service delivery through technology and reducing the burden on candidates nationwide.

The Board notes that the initiative reflects the customer-focused vision of its sixth Registrar, Prof. Segun Aina, who has prioritised digital transformation across the examination body’s operations.
