First Lady Denies Involvement in Organizing National Prayer for Nigeria

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has clarified that she is not involved in organizing any joint National Prayer event, countering recent claims circulating on multiple media platforms.

In a statement issued by the Office of the First Lady, Senior Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, on Saturday, described the reports as “unfounded and misleading.” The statement urged Nigerians to disregard the rumors and rely only on official channels for accurate information regarding the First Lady’s activities.

As a committed Christian and advocate for national prayer, the First Lady highlighted the value of praying for the nation, emphasizing that “prayer must be a voluntary and conscientious act.” She encouraged Nigerians of all faiths to unite in prayer for the country.
