Tinubu Felicitates with Muslims on Eid Maulud

President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Nigerian Muslims on the occasion of Eid Maulud, commemorating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

In a goodwill message released on Sunday and signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information and Strategy), President Tinubu encouraged Muslims to reflect on the Prophet’s exemplary life, characterized by purity, selflessness, perseverance, kindness, and compassion. He urged the faithful to emulate these virtues in their daily lives.

The President also called on Muslims to utilize the Maulud holiday to offer prayers for the nation’s well-being and demonstrate empathy and compassion towards one another.

“As we mark the Maulud, we should all reflect on the life lived by Prophet Muhammad, exemplified by purity, selflessness, perseverance, kindness and compassion. We must endeavour to imbibe those virtues,”  he said.

With this gesture, President Tinubu joins Muslims across Nigeria and worldwide in celebrating the significance of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.
