Similarly, the Assembly has urged Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to instruct the Ministry of Health to release funds for the overseas medical treatment of Adebola Akin-Bright, a young boy whose intestines went missing during surgery.

Obasa made this apppeal on Tuesday, while emphasising the urgent need for Akin-Bright’s treatment abroad.

Furthermore, the legislators called for the immediate arrest of the doctor from Obitoks Medical Centre, Alimosho, who conducted the initial surgery that resulted in the missing small intestine.
