Sule to construct Umaisha/Shege/Kataphe road to boast agricultural activity – The Sun Nigeria

Governor of Nasarawa State Abdullahi Sule has made promised Toto indigents in Nasarawa State of his desire to construct Umaisha/ Shege/ Katapha road in Toto Local Government Area in order to boost agricultural production, socio-economic activities and improving the standard of living of the people in the area.

Sule, who is the Sarkin Yaki Opanda (Warrior) made the promise during his visit to the palace of Ohimege Opanda, Alhaji Usman Abdullahi in Umaisha, Toto LGA on Tuesday.

Sule said that his intention to construct Umasiha/Shege/Katapha road among other roads in Toto was also to attract investors, generate employment among other benefits.

“As this will also boost agricultural production, the socio-economic activities of our people and attract investors,” he said.

Sule said that the visit was to appreciate the monarch and other district and village heads among other people for the support he was enjoying from them and called for its sustenance.

He also pledged to embark on massive Infrastructural development, if voted for another term.

“I will continue to prioritise the security of our people as no society will achieve meaningful progress and development without peace,”” he added

The Governor solicited for the support and votes of the people of the area and Nigerians to enable him, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC Presidential candidate and all other APC candidates emerged victorious during the elections.

Also speaking Sen Abubakar Sodangi, Chairman, Bola Ahmed Tinubu/ Governor Sule Campaign Council in Nasarawa State, has urged the people of the state and Nigerians to vote the APC Presidential candidate and Governor Sule and other APC candidates in February and March elections.

Sodangi said that Tinubu would consolidate on the achievements so far recorded by President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Sule.

He added that Governor Sule has done well in almost all sectors of the economy, hence the need for the people of the state to re-elect him come March election.

“His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi Sule has done well in almost all sectors of the economy, particularly in the area of security,” he said.

On his part, HRH Alhaji Usman Abdullahi, the Ohimege Opanda and Chairman, Toto Local Government Traditional Council of Chiefs appreciated Governor Sule for the good work he was doing for the people of the state.

Abdullahi, who is a first class traditional ruler said that Governor Sule deserved second term in office considering his laudable achievements in the areas of peace and security, road construction, electricity, health among other projects in Toto and the state at large.

The first class traditional ruler called on the people of the area to support the re-election bid of Gov. Abdullahi Sule, Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi among others.

Earlier, the Overseer, Umaisha Development Area, Mr Iliyasu Miriyam, commended Governor Sule for developing the state, particularly security and infrastructure.

He called on the people of the area to vote the governor and other APC candidates in February and March elections.

Meanwhile as part of efforts to woe voters in communities, villages governor Abdullahi sule had earlier visited Loko development area of the state to continue his state wide campaigns to development areas after a successful local government campaigns.

Sule reassured the people of Loko that he would sustain the achievement already recorded in tackling insecurity due to efforts and support of the community leaders which led to the reduction of criminal activities around Maraban Udege down to Loko, he said.
