World Economic Forum: Tinubu Secures $600M Danish Investment for Nigeria Seaport Expansion

President Bola Tinubu has successfully secured a significant investment of $600 million from the  renowned Danish Shipping and Logistics from, A.P. Moller-Maersk  with aim of  expanding Nigeria’s port infrastructures

This was confirmed by the Chairman of A.P Miller Maersk Uggla at the World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration Growth and Energy Development in Riyadh

According to Uggla, he believes this investment is worthwhile as Nigeria has the biggest and the best ports.

“We believe in Nigeria, and we will invest $600 million in existing facilities and make the ports accommodating for bigger ships.

”In my humble view, given that Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa, Nigeria should have the best and biggest port and we are very eager to invest, and we will continue that dialogue with the relevant Nigerian authorities to explore further investment opportunities.” He said.
