Sokoto Gov Aliyu Approves Early June Salaries for Eid-el-Kabir Celebration

Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has given the go-ahead for the early payment of June salaries to state employees, with the process starting on Monday.

According to Aliyu,’This decision is intended to make it easier and more comfortable for state employees to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Bawa.and made available to Africa health report (AHR), On Sunday.”The payment encompasses state civil servants, local government workers, and pensioners across the state.

Aliyu also extended his greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah, wishing them a peaceful Eid-el-Kabir festival.

Sultan had officially designated June 16 as Sallah Day.
