Residents of the Durbawa community in Kware Local Government Area, Sokoto State, are appealing to the state government for urgent intervention to restore their sole primary healthcare facility.

This vital facility, which serves the community and its neighbouring villages, is in dire need of structural repairs.

Concerned patients who spoke to news men at the weekend highlighted the critical role this healthcare facility plays in the community.

It offers essential services such as family planning, maternity and childbirth care, and health education. Additionally, it conducts vital screenings, immunizations, and vaccination programs.

Despite the challenges posed by the dilapidated facility, healthcare workers are striving to provide the best possible care.

However, the deteriorating infrastructure hinders their ability to deliver effective health services.

Community members like Ladi Abubakar are urging the Sokoto State government to take immediate action to prevent the situation from worsening.

They emphasize the urgent need for repairs to ensure the continued provision of essential healthcare services to the Durbawa community.
