Nigerian Army School of Supply and Transport Hosts Ex-NAYARDA Training Exercise

The Nigerian Army School of Supply and Transport (NASST) has successfully hosted the Ex-NAYARDA Field Training Exercise, in line with the Chief of Army Staff’s command philosophy.

The two-day exercise, held on October 24-25, aimed to enhance logistics planning and operational efficiency among students.

Major General Adekunle Adeyinka, Commander of the Nigerian Army Corp of Supply and Transport, inaugurated the exercise at NASST’s Training Area in Benin City.

The comprehensive training brought together students from various departments, focusing on logistics support planning, combat service support orders, and movement operations.

“The exercise is critical in equipping participants with essential skills to overcome challenges in supply chain management and logistics operations, by focusing on logistics planning, we aim to enhance the Nigerian Army’s operational efficiency and effectiveness,” said Major General Adeyinka

Major General Adeyinka praised NASST’s Commandant, Major General Nansak Shagaya, for the initiative, stating, “This exercise equips participants with essential skills to overcome supply chain management challenges.”

Major General Shagaya emphasized that Ex-NAYARDA is part of NASST’s Fourth Quarter training activities, aimed at bolstering the Nigerian Army’s operational efficiency.
