N50,000 Conditional Grants Payment still Ongoing – FG

The Nigerian government has confirmed the ongoing disbursement of the N50,000 Conditional Grant Scheme, with 150,000 out of the one million targeted citizens already receiving payments.

The Minister of Trade and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite, revealed this information through an official statement on her X handle.

In her statement, she stated, “Grant disbursements are ongoing; 150,000 of the 1 million targeted payments have been issued as of this week.

“If you’re verified and awaiting funds, we appreciate your patience. For full transparency, a list of all beneficiaries will be released upon completion.

“The grant disbursement initiative, which kicked off last week, forms a crucial part of the efforts by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to alleviate the impact of fuel subsidy removal.

The Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme had earlier announced a registration portal for interested beneficiaries back in December last year.
