Joy Raimi Crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025

A 24-year-old graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, Joy Mojisola Raimi, has crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025 pageant.

This was announced by the founder of Silverbird Group, Ben Murray-Bruce, in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday. The grand finale of the competition took place at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, featuring 37 contestants from across Nigeria.

Raimi, who represented Osun State, is passionate about humanitarian work and runs a personal initiative called The Love for Humanity Project, aimed at promoting compassion and social support.

In the final round, she competed against representatives from Imo, Ebonyi, Abuja, and Abia states. She shared a personal story of resilience, revealing that she grew up without a mother and was often bullied by a caregiver—an experience that helped shape her strength and determination.

Raimi will now represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant scheduled to be held in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31, 2025, alongside contestants from over 140 countries.
