The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has dismissed reports claiming that the 2025 Direct Entry registration will close on Monday, April 7.
In a statement issued by its Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin on Saturday, the Board clarified that the registration, which began on March 12, 2025, remains open until an official closing date is announced.
JAMB noted that the extended registration window allows time to investigate cases involving candidates allegedly using fake A-Level results. It warned applicants with questionable credentials to withdraw voluntarily, as the Board’s detection mechanisms have been strengthened.
The Board also disclosed that its investigations would extend to students who had previously secured admissions using fraudulent qualifications.
Eligible candidates are advised to register only at designated JAMB Professional Registration Centres.
