The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in Benin Republic has provided reassurance to Nigerian students studying in neighboring countries following the recent suspension of accreditation of degree certificates.
The President of NANS in Benin Republic, Ikenna Favour, clarified that the suspension only affects institutions lacking proper accreditation, and accredited institutions are not affected.
The statement was released in response to an investigative report on deceptive practices by some Nigerians obtaining degrees from Benin Republic and Togo to secure jobs.
As a result, the federal ministry of education ordered an immediate suspension of accreditation for degrees obtained from tertiary institutions in both countries.
Ikenna assured Nigerian students attending accredited institutions in Benin and Togo stating, “We want to clarify that this suspension of accreditation is specific to certain institutions in Benin Republic and does not apply to accredited institutions in Benin.”
He emphasized that the degrees and education obtained from accredited institutions in the Benin Republic are recognised by the Nigerian government, and the quality of education provided by these institutions remains unquestioned.
Addressing concerns, Ikenna urged students to remain focused on their studies and assured them that their degrees obtained from accredited institutions in Benin are valid and respected. “We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you informed of any updates or resolutions related to the accreditation suspension,” he promised
I don’t know how I landed up here, but this post was fantastic. I don’t know who you are, but you’ll be a renowned blogger soon. Cheers!
I frequently blog, and I truly value the stuff you provide. In fact, the piece has piqued my curiosity. I’m going to save your website to my bookmarks and keep coming back for fresh content.
What I fail to see is how you are no longer even more popular than you may be at this point. You are incredibly intelligent, and your depth of knowledge on the subject led me to believe it from a variety of perspectives. It seems that people aren’t interested in anything until it has to do with Lady Gaga. Keep up the good work.
