Nigeria’s National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has announced that the country will host a National Health Financing Policy Dialogue from 1 to 4 September 2025.
The announcement, made on Sunday by the NHIA, said the landmark event will bring together policymakers, development partners, health financing specialists, civil society, private sector representatives, the media, academia and health insurance stakeholders to chart a more resilient path for the nation’s health financing systems.
“This isn’t just another meeting,” NHIA said. “It is a platform to shape Nigeria’s health financing future, ensure accountability, and drive action that makes quality healthcare accessible and sustainable for all.”
The four-day dialogue is expected to tackle persistent challenges in the healthcare sector, with a view to fostering collaboration and ensuring sustainable, equitable access to health services across the country. Interested participants have been urged to register via the official NHIA link.
