Governor Radda Makes First Public Appearance after Crash as VP Visits

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Radda, on Wednesday made his first public appearance following a recent road crash along the Katsina–Daura highway, as Vice President Kashim Shettima paid him a condolence visit in Abuja.

The Vice President visited the governor at the Katsina State Government Lodge in Asokoro, where he offered prayers and thanked God for sparing Radda’s life.

Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, led a prayer session for the governor’s full recovery.

Governor Radda expressed gratitude for the visit, describing it as a gesture of leadership, unity, and friendship that transcends politics and official responsibilities.

Vice President Shettima was accompanied by Minister of Agriculture, Senator Abubakar Kyari; Deputy Chief of Staff to the Vice President, Senator Hassan Ibrahim Hadejia; and NAHCON Chairman, Professor Abdullahi Usman.

Also present were Katsina State Deputy Governor, Malam Faruq Lawal Jobe, and Shamsu Sule Funtua, along with other dignitaries.
