Anwar-Ul Islam College in Agege, Lagos, will host a free medical outreach on June 5, spearheaded by US-based Eko Club International.
The initiative, which has become an annual lifeline for underserved communities, aims to provide essential healthcare services to residents without cost.
In a statement released on Sunday, President of the Anwar-Ul Islam College Old Boys Association (ACAOSA), Alhaji Abdulfatai Afolabi, confirmed the outreach would commence at 10 a.m. on the school premises.
“This yearly initiative gives succour to people with medical conditions for free,” he said, emphasizing the continued commitment of the diaspora community to supporting local health needs.
Services at the event will include health education, general health screening, dental checks, vision screening with free frames, and the provision of free medications.
“We are proud to facilitate access to quality healthcare for those who need it most,” Alhaji Afolabi added.
