BREAKING: Hamdiyya Sidi Shariff Declared Missing Ahead of Court Case in Sokoto

A young woman, Hamdiyya Sidi Shariff, who is currently facing trial with the Sokoto State Government over alleged attempts to incite public unrest, has been declared missing.

Her lawyer, Abba Hikima, announced the development on his official Facebook page, stating that Hamdiyya has not been seen since Tuesday morning when she left her home around 10:00 a.m. to buy some food items. According to Hikima, she has not returned or been heard from since then.

Today was scheduled for a continuation of the court proceedings between her and the Sokoto State Government. However, with her sudden disappearance, the case may face unexpected delays.

Hikima confirmed that the incident has already been reported to the Sokoto State Police Command for investigation.

Authorities and concerned citizens are urged to assist in locating Hamdiyya, as fears grow over her safety amid the sensitive nature of the charges against her. Further updates will follow as the situation develops.
