Nigeria’s Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Muhammed Ali Pate, is set to headline the WHX Lagos Labs 2025, a major healthcare conference and exhibition scheduled for June 2–4 at the Landmark Centre in Lagos.
Now in its 12th year, the event brings together policymakers, clinicians, laboratory experts, investors, and innovators to examine new technologies, policies, and models shaping sustainable healthcare in Africa. Pate will officially open the conference, signaling strong federal endorsement and emphasizing the strategic importance of the gathering.
“This edition of the annual health conference and exhibition builds on a strong foundation of industry trust and international relevance,” said Director of WHX Lagos and WHX Labs Lagos, Tom Coleman.
“We are especially excited about this year’s speaker lineup, which reflects our commitment to curating a diverse, cross-sectoral dialogue led by some of Africa’s most respected thought leaders and innovators.”, Coleman added.
Featured speakers include Nicaise Ndembi of the International Vaccine Institute, Mories Atoki of the African Business Coalition for Health, and medical influencer Egemba Chinonso, among others.
WHX Labs Lagos will also highlight leading figures in laboratory science, such as renowned virologist Oyewale Tomori and MLSCN’s Donald Ofili.
The program promises high-impact sessions spanning leadership, public health, diagnostics, investment, and digital innovation.
