In a significant move to bolster community development, the Comptroller General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, inaugurated a newly renovated Local Authority Primary School and a Primary Healthcare Centre in Sagbokoji, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State on April 30, 2025.

This initiative is part of the Nigeria Customs Service’s ‘Customs Cares’ program aimed at addressing the educational and infrastructural needs of host communities.

During the commissioning ceremony, CGC Adeniyi emphasized the Service’s dedication to supporting local communities, stating, “We are undertaking projects that will have direct impact on our schools and our students.”

He highlighted the distribution of essential educational materials, including school bags and textbooks, to pupils, while also noting the renovation efforts aimed at improving the school’s infrastructure.
