The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a slight adjustment to the start date for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which will now begin on Thursday, April 24, instead of Friday, April 25.
According to a statement signed by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin on Saturday, the shift was made to accommodate crucial national commitments involving the Board and its partners.
JAMB also announced that candidates can now print their Examination Notification Slips containing details such as examination date, time, and venue. Candidates are encouraged to print their slips starting Saturday, April 19, by visiting www.jamb.gov.ng, clicking “2025 UTME Slip Printing,” and entering their registration number.
The Board advised candidates to visit their exam centres ahead of the test date to avoid delays or confusion. It stressed that no candidate would be placed outside their selected examination town.
JAMB reiterated its commitment to ensuring a seamless and fair examination process and urged all candidates to adequately prepare and comply with instructions for a smooth exercise.
