Ramadan: Gombe Gov Sets Up Palliative Distribution Committees

In his continuous effort to provide relief and improve the welfare of citizens, especially, as Ramadan is set to begin, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has appointed, with immediate effect, a State Coordinator, Local Government Committee Chairmen, Members, and Ward Committee Members for the 2025 Ramadan Palliative Distribution across the State.

The formal inauguration of the committees will take place today, Saturday, at 3:00 at the SSG’s Conference Hall, Government House.

The Secretary to the State Government, Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who conveyed the governor’s approval on Friday, said the development is aimed at ensuring smooth and effective distribution of the relief materials to support the residents during the holy month.

The 2025 Ramadan Palliative Distribution Committees are composed as follows:

  • Mijinyawa Mohammed Tilde (Funakaye LGA)
  • Barr. Sani A.A. Haruna (Gombe LGA)
  • Abubakar Dantata (Kaltungo LGA)
  • Engr. Usman Maijama’a (Kwami LGA)
  • Salihu Baba Alkali (Nafada LGA)
