The Enugu State Senator representing Enugu North, Okey Ezea has sent a felicitation message to all workers amidst Socio-economic challenges.
This message is to commemorate the annual Workers’ Day by the Senator’s media office on May 1 while encouraging all workers to brace up as the country works to overcome these challenges.
“On this year’s May Day, I ponder, as I often do, the current condition of the Nigerian worker. Indeed, we of the Labour Party always have the welfare of the workforce as our topmost priority.
“The present state of insecurity is injurious to everyone. High food prices, high cost of transportation and naira depreciation have all made the income of the Nigerian worker insignificant.
“As a worker myself, I am at one with everyone else who demands solutions to these problems.
“May our country Nigeria overcome these challenges in the shortest possible time, so that we all may begin to enjoy a new lease of life”. The message read.
