EHCON, EPHAN Partner to Strengthen Nigeria’s Environmental, Public Health

ABUJA, Nigeria – The Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (EHCON) and the Environmental Health and Public Health Practitioners Association of Nigeria (EPHAN) have announced a strategic collaboration to raise standards in environmental and public health practice nationwide.

Unveiled during a press conference at EHCON’s Abuja headquarters on Friday, the partnership will focus on training, regulation, and public awareness. “This collaboration marks a turning point. Together we are elevating professional practice and protecting community wellbeing,” EHCON said in a statement.

EPHAN welcomed the move, stressing that joint initiatives will give practitioners the tools to strengthen community health systems. “This is about ensuring Nigerians benefit from stronger and more resilient public health structures,” officials noted.

The two organisations are developing frameworks to streamline certification processes, improve monitoring, and promote sustainable practices, with further details expected in coming weeks.

Experts described the partnership as timely, given rising environmental health threats such as waste mismanagement, poor sanitation, and climate change. Stakeholders urged government support to scale nationwide reforms.

  2. It’s so important to remember gambling should be fun, not a source of stress. Seeing platforms like legend link app prioritize secure experiences & easy maya deposits is a good sign for Filipino players! Responsible gaming first, always. ✨
